Overview:
Bland County High School is seeking an energetic, student-centered Soccer Club Coach to lead our middle school soccer club. This position focuses on skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment for student-athletes.
Responsibilities:

Supervise and coach middle school students during scheduled soccer club meetings and practices.

Teach fundamental soccer skills, rules, and strategies in a safe and developmentally appropriate manner.

Promote teamwork, character development, and positive behavior.

Ensure all activities follow school policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate with parents/guardians as needed.

Collaborate with school administration regarding schedules, facility use, and student needs.

Provide a safe, structured environment and maintain proper supervision at all times.
Qualifications:

Experience working with middle school-aged students (preferred).

Basic knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and safe practice drills.

Ability to supervise students and manage a group effectively.

Strong communication and organizational skills.
-
Completion of any required school division background checks.
